Founded in in depths of the eastern suburbs of Melbourne,Catfish Voodoo the dusty electric delta blues band was formed. Under a star lit sky the immediate connection of down and dirty blues rang out across a valley in awe. With raging harmonica that could only be controlled by Aaron Gillett this down and dirty blues sound will play havoc with your ears. As the sun rises the gates of Olympus open to release the drums of heaven , shrouded by a beam of Light Russell Bannister hammers away at his drums so even the gods turn there heads. The whole sound is toped off like a cherry on an already amazing cake with crazy blues guitar and penetrating vocals by Julian Byrne. All of this combined, creates an epic tale of happiness, sorrow, love, lust and life but most importantly Catfish Voodoo.
