Arcadia

Arcadia is a heavy metal/hardcore band from Adelaide, South Australia.
Founded in 2006, Arcadia have played with some of Australia’s best metal talent, including the likes of Lord, Alchemist, The Amenta, Captain Cleanoff, Double Dragon, Universum, Truth Corroded and many more.
After establishing a name for themselves and building a loyal fan base, 2009 saw Arcadia playing the premiere Adelaide metal event ‘Against the Grain 5’ which allowed them to share the stage with bands from all over Australia, as well as the mighty Bhelliom from Singapore.
Later that year, Arcadia featured at another large scale festival, ‘Summer Rage Fest’, which doubled as the launch of their debut CD ‘From Ashes, We Rise’.
Such a success was this release that it helped the band achieve more than 130 000 plays on the popular website ‘Myspace.com’, as well as receiving many glowing reviews from various street magazines and radio stations.

Since releasing From Ashes We Rise, Arcadia were asked to feature on a compilation CD ‘The Euphony Fusion III’, a CD that would be distributed over the country at the Arch Enemy Australian Tour of November 2009.
Currently, the band is writing for their follow up full-length album.
