He She Wonderland
The origins of He She Wonderland can be traced back to 2002 through the chance meeting of Vocalist August Gable and Bass player Andy Anderson. They met in the beginning of grade 8, at the age of 14. In an odd twist of fate, their teacher chose to sit them next to each other in class. It was from this moment that Andy and Augusts’ friendship grew. Fast forward to the present day and we find August wanting to form a band. Unsure of where to start August turned to his best friend Andy to fill the position of the Bass player. He She Wonderland had finally begun. The next member to fill the ranks of He She Wonderland was Ant Dee. Ant Dee contacted August looking to join the outfit. August watched some footage of Ant playing guitar on YouTube. August was quickly impressed and had a good feeling about Ant. On a hung-over Sunday Ant wheeled his Marshall stack into Stage Door’s studio 5. August and Andy started jamming and Ant caught onto the vibe instantly. He She Wonderland had found their guitarist. Going through a string of drummers and never quiet finding the ‘one’, the incomplete He She Wonderland were quickly becoming impatient. It was here that out of Ant’s past came Zac Pascoe. Ant and Zac used to Jam with each other regularly before He She Wonderland had ever come into fruition. During this period of time, Ant and Zac envisioned themselves in the future. They believed that being in a Rock band together was their ultimate fate. It was 7pm on a Monday night that Ant introduced Zac to the other boys. The 4 of them jammed. Zac hit the drums like nobody they had ever seen before. Instantly, all 4 boys knew that He She Wonderland was complete. Through many twists and turns, fate seems to have brought He She Wonderland together. It almost seems that August, Andy, Ant and Zac were destined to play music together. Through the previous connections that ultimately led to the banding together of He She Wonderland, it was in each other, that they found their direction.
