At The age of 23 years, B Wise a.k.a James Iheakanwa has accomplished a lot but in his opinion has only scratched the surface of his full potential.
Born and raised in Sydney on Australia's East coast, since the age of 12 he displayed a passion for writing music but his first public presence originally started off as a party MC in his area. Though not taking himself too serious at the time B W was well known around his area for his double time flow and confrontational lyrics, but as time went on he managed to nurture this talent to be one of the original members to form the hip hop group Konnected as 1 or better known K1. Formed in 2005 he joined along with long time friends Glove, Egasm & 2 Deep to create arguably Sydney’s finest hip hop act at that point!! Till this date K1 have released 3 EP's, 1 LP & 2 mixtapes of which the most current being "The Feel good Muzik mixtape" Hosted By DJ Nino Brown. Through their work they managed to create a strong buzz through the Sydney music scene which eventually saw its growth from state to state thanks to their constant touring and Internet presence.

In 2010 Wise released his first solo Mixtape called "A word to the wise" which saw more than 700 online download’s in its first 3 weeks online. Although the mixtape was not followed up with any music videos or press as commitments to K1 saw him back away from the project and regain focus towards the group projects.

Now in 2012 B Wise is taking the time to complete his second mixtape "The Benchman" Which has been recorded in both Sydney Australia, and London UK, Making the mixtape his best work so far in his opinion. Even though it will be a mixtape, wise is structuring the project more as an album to display allot of his original content and creativity and intends to see the project all the way through to gain the presence not only with a successful group but also as an accomplished solo artist.
